| WTT: 2000 Audi B5 A4 1.8TQM slightly modded for E34? I've got 2 guys that are interested in buying my car when I get back from this deployment, but I'm not sure how reliable they are (even though both said 100% they want it..). So I'm putting up a feeler to see if anyone would be interested in trading an E34 (possibly E36) for this beast. There are flaws, so cash +/- depending on trade is doable. The Good: Engine -ATW 1.8T -New coil packs -New spark plugs -Timing belt replaced 15k ago -New O2 sensors -New green top CTS -APR R1 DV -APR 91 octane software -APR snub mount -034 Motorsport coilpack cover -034 intake manifold spacer -ATP 3" test pipe -2.5" exhaust with Magnaflow muffler -20squared combi valve block off plate -20squared SAI resistor -EVOMS FMIC -S4 engine mounts Transmission -034 solid transmission mount -Stern poly mount -B&M short shifter Suspension/Brakes -A8/TT front upgrade with Zimmerman rotors and PBR ceramic pads -034 B7 rear upgrade (300mm) with B5 S4 calipers, OE B7 S4 rotors and PBR ceramic pads -Stainless steel braided lines throughout -Motul RBF 600 brake fluid -Tein Basic Street coilovers -CPP rear adj. swaybar end links -K-Mac bushings in upper control arms. Exterior -Black pearleffect paint -S4 grille -Custom all-red taillights -de-badged aside from Audi rings -DIY french fogs -Smoked side markers Interior -Tan pleather -Sport steering wheel -Greddy turbo timer (not wired in, filling the void from the broken cup holder) -Autometer single A-pillar pod with boost guage -S4 instrument cluster (reads about 80k, but really has 50k ontop of that due to the S4 having less miles during the swap), oh shit handles, visors, dome lights, etc. -Almost complete black interior trim sitting in my parents garage, didn't have time to install The Bad: -Clutch is shot, works fine when not in boost, when I bought it it was going out, and they just don't get better without replacing -Oil cooler grenaded, so I blocked if off and flushed both cooling and oil systems. I have a new oil cooler, but it happened right before we deployed, so I didn't have time to replace it -Both front CVs are making a bit of noise, and have tears in the boots, was planning on replacing them, but guess what...didn't have time -Driver's seat is pretty torn up, came apart on the stitching on the bottom seat area, never really cared much to get it fixed. -Interior desperately needs a good cleaning. I left when there was still a couple feet of snow on the ground, so from getting in/out (and normally being the taxi to/from bars), the dirt/sand and snow mix didn't sit too well. -I was rear-ended 2x, both while I was inside a building and my car was parked. Got it fixed (rear passenger quarterpanel/trunk/taillight), but the bumper still has an abbrassion on it (was going to get a euro-bumper, but never did). -Front camber and toe in is pretty extreme, I've gone through 2 sets of tires, but it handles pretty well ![]() -Has the stock CD double-din style head unit, and CD player doesn't work. Radio sucks in Alaska, so that was kind of a bummer... Cassette still works tho! ha -Passenger headlight (only low-beam) is out, all I know is that it's not the bulb, I haven't had time to probe around on it. I bought it because I was getting stationed in Alaska and I was not about to take my Corrado there. I wanted something AWD, and I came across this. The PO was a tech for Futrell Autoworks in Washington, who did all the work. The only things I did was replace the 2 front tires, oil changes, fixed minor things here and there. I miss my first car (E34) and kind of want to get back into one.
