I am selling my 1984 Honda VF750F Interceptor. 750cc engine, 86 horsepower, 71 ft/lb torque. Painted flat black with clearcoat. Has 15,698 miles. I bought it in May and put 100 miles on it. Comes with repair manual and brand new front tire (not mounted) Now for the problems.
I had the carbs cleaned about a month ago and it has not ran well since. It idles fine, but when I rev it up it stops around 5000 rpm and makes a "bogging" sound. If I'm in gear, I give it gas and let the clutch out and it bogs down and stalls. I think the carbs were not tuned properly. But it could also be the air/fuel ratio, a vacuum line, etc. I don't think it's a major problem, but it's more than Josh and I can handle and I don't have the money to take it to a shop.
Looking for $1,000. I have seen this bike sell on ebay for $2,500 in good condition. Located in Philadelphia, PA.
