I joined this site years ago but forgot all about it until seeing a link froma member. I love Bimmers but have always been afraid to buy one because of reliability issues. I was going to bite the bullet and get a 335 but the salesmen were so snobbish at the dealership that I changed my mind. ANyway, here's pics of the cars I have now. It's a his and hers thing.

Good looking Lexus, sorry about the asshole sales person you had to deal with but unfortunately they exist. I personally enjoy having a wealth of knowledge over a sales person just to watch them squirm and drown in their own incompetence. The whole "reliability" stigma that German cars seem to have in my personal experience doesn't really exist. There are horror stories of course but I also know that people either lie about their experiences and embellish upon them or people actually don't have experience but make stuff up anyways. IMO when you buy a car whether its new or pre-owned you need to expect that problems can occur. Anything mechanical will eventually have some problems whether it's tomorrow or ten years down the road. I'm also particularly skeptical of online chat about reliability because like I said, people lie and it becomes even easier to lie about it on the internet. It's the good ole anonymity of the internet that makes stirring shit that much easier.

Sorry for the rant, but I'm particularly passionate about the whole reliability subject. Anyways, there are plenty of active members on this forum that own other cars besides BMW's so I'm sure you'll find plenty of stuff to talk about. Welcome back to the forum.

Welcome back I understand why you didn´t get the car if you had snobbish salesmen. But the 335 is insane.. Go to another dealership and get yourself the car of your life
