Great shots.

legaldub: Are you considering doing anything to the front of your e46 to make it slightly more aggressive? When I look at your car, the front is the only thing that looks like it could be a bit more aggressive to me. The wheels are perfect, the rear end really doesn't need to be touched...but maybe a lip up front?

yeah i've thought about it... but being a broke college student makes it tough to justify spending a lot of money on the car but i definitely agree with you...
i'm either going to go all out in the next year, or hold off completely and try to get a CPO m3 out of school if i can land the job i want... who knows. what would you do if you owned the car outright?

thanks for the comments everyone! really appreciate it!
yeah, the white evo was lots of fun, we took both cars out on some twisties as well, and i'd say both cars held up pretty well, i was surprised at my 323...

yeah i thought about an m3 rep from euro-spec.net, those guys have been giving me great offers for a while, but i just have no money haha
maybe this summer... but i'm starting to think its a lost cause on my 323 if i plan on selling it within the next year...
but thats just it, i don't have to make any payments on it... so really, its completely up in the air, i could keep it and the only payments i'd be making would be on mods... or i could sell it and try to get into a used e46 ///m... i'm really torn between the two

I can appreciate where you're coming from. If it were me, I would opt to drive the 323 until you're ready to get into something you know you'll keep for awhile. An e46 M car is one that you can easily keep for a long time and not feel bad about modding. My only issue with pouring money into the 323 is that you may grow tiresome of the lack of power.

On the other hand, it's so easy to fall in love with these cars that the sentimental value sometimes makes us do things that aren't sound decisions. It's clear that you love your car, and that's good.

I guess all I'm trying to say is that you should do what makes you the happiest and makes the most sense. If right now you're already getting bored with the power of the 323, I would say stop modding and start saving for an M.

If you love the car and would rather put the money you would spend on an M toward something else (a house, investments, expensive hookers), then keep her and have fun with it.

yeah. i'm kinda pulling for the latter of the two options... at least for now..
it never hurts to wait on a decision like this. i'm actually kind of hoping to get out of the car modding scene for a while, until i have a steady job and can afford to do all the stuff i'd like...
but i'm getting to the point where i duno where i'll be in the next year... and it'd be way easier to sell if i had to if i didn't pour money into it and try to part out later...
oh well i'll figure it out, i think its smartest to not drop any more money into it, cuz it really is just a money pit...
