My 944 Turbo!

I'm awaiting delivery of my 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo. I used to drive a 1986 944, but I was hit by a stolen car on a highway and it was totaled. I have been looking for an adequate replacement for half a year now, and came across such a perfect example that I couldn’t turn it down.

I bought the car in Pennsylvania, and am having the car shipped up to Saskatchewan.

The car has less than 58,000 miles, the paint color is Velvet Red Metallic, and the condition is spectacular! Modifications include Zimmermann rotors and pads, the ECU has been upgraded with a ECU was upgraded with a Weltmeister chip, and it has a K&N airfilter. Horsepower is claimed at 295 (250 stock) - I imagine it's not quite that high, but nevertheless quite fast.

Forgive the poor photo quality – these pictures were from the previous owner. I blacked out the background for visual effect. Once the car arrives – and the snow melts – I'll take some better pictures.

That's got to be the cleanest 944 I've ever seen. Congrats on the purchase! Post more pics when you get a chance.

Thanks guys! I'll post more pictures when it arrives... and get some good ones once the snow melts.

As for the wheels, I don't mind them. I won't have enough money to buy new ones (as I'd only really consider BBS), so for now they will do. I suspect eventually I'll get some LM style wheels, although I'm open to suggestions in future.

I thought so. The only thing I would be interested in would be some OEM colored center crest caps. The current ones are nice, but they aren't really noticable unless up close.

Truthfully though, I'd like to keep as stock an exterior as I can. I think I will put most of my future earnings towards performance modifications. I suspect the chip-tuned ECU would work well with a new exhaust system, and that will probably be my aim in a couple years.

that thing is super clean, nice buy, i would change the wheels and the exhaust, a full turbo back exhaust will make that thing scream and you will get a noticeable power increase, turbo cars really react well to exhaust systems

I suspect exhaust would do quite nicely, once I get my finances in order I'll look at my options!
