New Turbos are in.

Yes, I know its not a BMW.......its 1994 Dodge Stealth R/T twin turbo, 6 speed manual, AWD, all wheel steering, electronically adjustable suspension, electronic variable exhaust, all kinds of useless gizmos....

Yes, I know my engine bay is REALLY dirty.......

First picture, during mockup install, grinding motor mount for clearance, and installing solid motor mount. (yes, it vibrates.)

Second picture, turbos before install

Third picture, radio head unit (still not hooked up, since I have no speakers, antenna, or amps in the car yet), GReddy boost gauge, Blitz turbo timer, in custom DIN plate

Fourth pic.....spare interior parts, remember, weight is BAD, lol

Last picture for fun, all three sets of lights ablaze, little wiring modification for backroads...you kinda get the idea of how low the car sits compared to the door handles of a minivan.

Nothing special, I know....

One more picture, custom boost gauge pod, since the GReddy one not really visible while driving:

I lied, one more, new wheels 18x9 all corners, being test fitted to clear 4 piston brake calipers:

Next for install, Full coilovers, new fuel computer, larger injectors, and re-install boost controller.

One more for fun, you think YOUR vacuum diagram is hard to follow?

Hoses galore! Only the RX-7 is worse, for hose routing.

What size are the new turbos, and what do you think you'll be putting to the ground when all is said and tuned? I love super sleeper cars like that.

twin TD04L-13T's. The compressor and center section are stock for Subaru WRX.

Realistically, I probly won't break 500 AWHP. It'll be tuned for 93 pump, so no big numbers here. Just looking for a bit more power for the daily driver.

To give you an idea, these are my stock turbos, TD04-9B's:

AWD is the way to go for a street car. I've ditched FWD a long time ago, and RWD just doesn't hold the power I want on the street anymore. I can still do doughnuts if I REALLY wanted to, and it looks alot cooler than RWD doughnuts.

The AWS is powered by a pump on the rear differential, and only builds enough pressure to opperate above 35 MPH. It's same phase, which means the rear wheels turn the same direction as the fronts (crab), to increase high-speed stability during transitions (like weaving through traffic, not that I do that crap). Turning radius is not affected. Maximum deflection of the rear wheels is 1.5 degrees each direction.

It's a waste of weight, really, in normal driving. But you do feel a difference when doing stupid stuff on the highway, vs. when you shut if off by pulling a fuse.
