How is the KA cheaper? $500 for the motor/tranny and all the things I would need + $3000 for turbo kit and parts + $200 (at least) to replace all the old parts on the KA ...

OR $2000 for the entire CA18DET front clip (a-pillars to the front bumper) + $200 (at least) to replace all the worn out parts like water pump and whatnot ... and then look how much money I save to dump into aftermarket performance.

1st the ca is a 1.8L and the ka is a 2.4L, 2nd the ca is gonna have a baby turbo like a t25/28 or somthing and you could have a good custom setup for about 2k-3k but w/no fuel management.

But once again, the KA-T will not be doing what I want or meeting my goals. I want a high revving motor (definitely not the KA) that will continue to make power in the high rpms (once again, not the KA). The CA will come with a T25, but that can EASILY be swapped out to something bigger if I wanted. Trust me, I've been doing my research and the CA is more cost effective for the goals that I want

First, there is no Silvia in the US. Second, drifting is already fanboi'd like every other sport and S13s and S14s are hard enough to find as it is. If you do find a cheap one, buy it and then resell it. Consider it an investment. You're damn near guaranteed to make a profit.
