An amazing video of a BMW X5 with McLaren F1 engine and manual transmission, this BMW SUV with 12 cylinders moves like a supercar.

BMW X5 with McLaren F1 engine sorry its in German but its still worth the sight and sounds.

It's not really the McLaren F1 engine. It's the engine from the prototype car (LeMan type car) so it's even better. LMP(something) that was used in ALMS etc.

awesome but why an x5 of all things to stuff such a powerplant into? personally id make the e39 m5 from hell if it were me.....

Publicity, same reason Renault put a formula 1 engine in a Espace (minivan).
