| NOS is only dangerous for those who make it dangerous...
It can be very helpful actually, not just for that extra boost, but have you guys ever considered using NOS to help cool your intercooler?
I've done a bit of research on NOS, and the gas in it is the same gas that composes like....70% of our atmosphere, you don't see the sky blowing up do you?
In any case, NOS basically sprays into the combustion chamber and cools down the air around it, since the air is denser, more fuel can be added, therefore making the extra power you need.
Other people have used the coolant properties for their air/coolant system, can you imagine the advantages you could have with supercooled air entering your engine, especially if you have forced induction?
You can think of it like those aerosol cans, you ever use them, and find the can getting REALLY cold? I've frozen my finger a few times haha...
In any case, I don't think his car failing can be fully blamed on just NOS, there had to be other elements involved with it. *shrugs*
