Yea must be the air. My friends almost stock 954RR smokes R1's and modified GSXR1000 like nothing. Drop a gear on the highway and hello tire smoke.

And all those who praise american engineering, you are pond scum.

I heard that gixxers have pretty fucked up powerbands compared to other motorcycles of the same calibre.

alright, 954's are alright but they dont smoke everything out there...and i doubt it smokes a tire on the highway unless its bald as shit, cus if u try and do that on a light bike like that on the highway ur not spinning it ur going over.

I love crotch-rockets as much as the next guy, but for some odd reason the bikes that I dream about are ones like the 1940's-50's indians. I found one on a website I lost and I really want to know what kind of indian it was. It was I think 1938 and it had the light integrated into the gas tank...OMG those bikes are so beautiful. I'm gonna own one some day...The other kind of bike that just screams at me are the ff-type bikes. Like the one in Akira, if i could I'd build one...
