De-badging my E30! please help!

Hi guys,

I bought my E30 318i a few months ago and i am loving it. Although when i bought the E30 as far as i know the previous owner had put on a ///M3 badge on the back of the car. Now with time on my hands i want to take the badge off.

I am located in Sydney, Australia so i am asking about what product i can use to get rid of the grime and the outline of the badge once i have removed it. Ive heard fishing line or dental floss is good to remove the badge itself.

Ive heard of this 'Goo Gone' but i cant say i have seen it anywhere in Sydney.

Any help and tips will be appreciated.

WD 40 should do a good job of removing the residue.

Take a heat gun and heat it up then remove it. once off either use windex or dishwasher soap. Probably will need to put a little wax on the spot after but it will get it done ;p

Yeah i was thinking WD 40 but wasnt positive. Thanks! I am going to try it today, ill let you know how it goes.
