E36 328i

Hi All,
I'm new here and was hoping you could give me some advice.
I'm looking to buy an E36 328i coupe.
They look like really good value but are there any common problems for these cars? Are there any areas i should be checking in particular when i look at the cars? How reliable are they? Are they expensive to maintain? Any advice would be appreciated.
