| Most cars cut fuel not spark to the engine, by way of the dme, if it's a factory alarm. But my biggest question is, Is the car cranking, is the engine turning over? Also how many miles are on the car? I'll give you one quick example of why your car may not be starting from my own experience. I was driving home one day and my car just died on me. The engine would turn over but it wasn't firing up. I checked the fuses for the fuel pump. I didn't have any tools on me in the Wal-mart parking lot so I was limited in what i could do. My car has 140,000 miles on it. It was the fuel pump that went up. I personally don't think it's the crank angle sensor. If the engine is turning over is it a weak crank or strong? |
