Other BMW drivers

Hello, my name is Conor and I’m a bimmer owner from Maine. I am very interested in getting to know some of the other bimmer drivers and tuners in New England. I drive a well moded 95 M3 and would like to get to know other drivers, I’m the only 3m guy for like 50 miles. But, if theirs any “meets” or other stuff it would be great to meet other drivers.

Welcome to DTMNE! I just sold my 1998 M3 this past weekend. But I plan on buying another one in 1 year.

What part of Maine are you from? I'm right in Portsmouth, NH, but I do travel up to Portland here and there...but not as much as I would like.

I live in the midcoast up around Camden, but i'v got friends down in Kittery so i'm down in that part of ME/NH all the time, mostly to visit BAV. Are there a good number of drivers where you are? Like i said before i live in a part of maine that every one drives a pick-up truck, so it would be great to get down and meet up with other bimmer drivers. My big problem is finding some track space for some play. I was down in FL for a bit learning to drift, and i am talking about the real thing not just sliding around, but it's hard to get a place to practice in this part of the world.

I run at New Hampshire Motor Speedway throughout the season. I usually run with a group called SCDA SCDA - 2007 Schedule of Events

Not sure if you're only into drifting, but we really only do "grip" driving. There are some very good drivers and instructors, and you can come out for a day to observe w/out having to pay. As long as you sign the waiver, you can request "ride-alongs" with the instructors too.

The other tracks we run are Lime Rock park in CT, Watkins Glen in NY, and the brand new New Jersey Motorsports park is opening this summer too.

Thanks, it would be great to get any kind of track time that i can, i love to run my car. This summer i need to get out more then i have. My big problem is that my car is still in the shop, but i think i'm getting it back some time this week. It would be great to meet up with some other drivers...have M3 will travel.

It's always the 1st weekend in October, so this year it will fall on October 5th.
