An Eastern CT Euro Meet

Hey guys -

I just wanted to mention an informal Euro meet that will be starting up at the end of this month in Eastern CT. With gas prices steadily increasing, hopefully there are other Euro enthusiasts in the general Eastern CT area that would like to get together regularly. This is somewhat along the lines of the monthly Fairfield meet, but catering to the Euro crowd in Eastern/ Northeastern Connecticut. Anyone wishing to travel further from in-state or out-of-state is of course also welcome!

The meet is going to be held on the first and last Fridays of every month starting Friday, May 30th.

When:

7:00 PM Friday May 30th

Where:

Coventry Dunkin' Donuts
3516 Main Street (Intersection of Rtes. 31 & 44)
Coventry, CT 06238

Who:

ALL EURO MAKES WELCOME!
(Audi, BMW, Porsche, Saab, Volvo, VW, etc.)

This will be an informal GTG-style meet, to meet other enthusiasts, chill out, enjoy the hopefully nice weather and talk cars.

First meet is scheduled for 5/30, 2nd meet is schedule for 6/6.

This meet is tomorrow night, can anyone make it?? The weather should be great, and we are hoping to get a decent turnout!

Our 2nd Euro Cruise Night/Meet will be happening again this Friday night 6/6/08.

This past Friday we had over 30 cars show up!!

There was a preponderance of VWs, but we also had a Porsche, a couple of Audis, and a nice Mercedes sedan.

There were also at least 3 BMWs in attendance (an E30, an E36, and an E39). I would really love to increase the BMW population at this meet.

I guess the schedule is going to be first and third Fridays of every month, but we may adjust that schedule as attendance permits.

2nd meet happening tonight! We had over 30 cars last Friday, hope to see a few more Bimmers this time.

The Eastern CT Euro Cruise Night is happening again this Friday night 6/20/08!

The first post in this thread has the address and time information.

There is a rain date of 6/27/08, but hopefully it will be dry tomorrow night!

There was a meet on the 11th, which I was unable to attend. I think there is another on the 25th. I will update the thread once I have the date confirmed.
