A few laps around NHMS
Track was windy and just downright freezing in the morning (Bring a jacket!). The snow is gone, but track temp was low and there was little grip first session of the day. Speeds were much slower. They warned us about 2 cars that had gone into the wall just on the pace lap the day before.
I also had an issue with air in the brake lines~ I hadn't bled them properly the day before. So my first two sessions were very slow (had to expand my braking zone significantly, plus no confidence in stopping power), the pedal would be on the floor before ABS kicked in.
After an emergency brake bleeding session at the track, the brakes returned to normal and I was back! Video you see is last session of the day.
Day started out rough, but the last session where everything came together made it all worthwile. So exhausted. Can't wait to do it all again!
