| BMW CCA event - Karting Day at Sugar Hill Speedway! Remember driving a go kart when you were a kid? Well, this is a chance for you, and your family to enjoy go karting at the premier Hot Laps Karting Center at Sugar Hill Speedway in scenic Weare, New Hampshire. It has been a while since the White Mountain Chapter has held a go-karting event, so we are excited to offer this opportunity to our members and non-members alike. This is not your traveling amusement park go-kart track, but a ten acre facility with a challenging seven turn road course that is sure to provide hours of exciting racing. They use 13 hp karts that can attain speeds of 60+ MPH. Safety is important to Hop Laps, and every driver will be outfitted with safety gear (helmet, racing suit and neck protector) A classroom safety lesson is given to all drivers and based on Exp. They have karts specifically for younger drivers (7-14), with roll-bars and four point harness and limited to 30 MPH, so your whole family can enjoy this event! *Saturday July 21st, 2007 @ 9:00am *Held at Hot-Laps Karting Center in Weare, NH. Rain date is 8/11. Hot Laps Karting Center - corporate outings, league racing, team building, racing school and camp *Cost: $75 ($35 for 7-14 year olds, with track approval based on Exp. Etc.) MotorsportReg.com : Register > White Mountain BMWCCA @ HotLaps Karting Center (until 07/15/07) Please note: There is a limit of 60 drivers for this event, so register early! If you have family members or friends that just want to come and watch, there is no charge for them. There are concessions available on-site with indoor and outdoor seating. Tailgating/BBQs are welcome. *You DO NOT have to be a WMC member or a CCA member for this event. However all drivers must take part in a classroom training session prior to driving. If you are a track instructor or drive at NHIS Etc. then you would not have to take part in the entire class.* |
