NE off topic?

A little confused. What's the point of this?

Is there really enough traffic in the NE forum itself to justify a separate NE forum? This will work out as well as wiping out the NE forum a while back to merge us all into a northeast forum.


edit: maybe I should have posted this in NE off topic.........messing with a good thing is what killed this place to begin with.

I woke up to this as well. Obviously the fourm split was in response to something that was perceived as problemmatic, and no doubt it was the NWS content and OT clowning/idiocy that was filling the otherwise dead forum. I suspect that it is an attempt to cut the chafe out of the "main" NE forum and let people have their mini-OT forum to go buck wild and be as silly as they want to be. That way, someone looking to sign up and participate isn't inundated with a million Tenacious D references, inside jokes, and potentially NWS images that could get someone fired, etc.

Like I said in another thread, so be it. 2 tears for me at this point. I have enough BS going on right now to expend any real thought or care to a non-issue like this.

I think its a good idea. I was lurking on some thread yesterday that was just begging for a NWS label. NE offtopic will answer that nagging question..... "Is it still funny, or have I gone too far.....no go further!"

Besides, you cant kill a community that is already dead.
