1995 M3 Red.. Good Deal

Hey,

I have been in the market for an E36 M3 and it seems EVERYONE I've looked at have had problems. I've seem pretty much all the years 95-99. But I found a MINT condition 95' with 68K for $15,000 at a dealer. The downfall would be the mileage, I was looking for lower and am willing to spend more. I don't want to rush into getting a car. Because I really want to get the right one and not be disapointed in the end. Also I don't know if anyone else has the lux interior but what is it like compared to the vaders? I love the vadars but I think I could live with the lux. What do you guys think, honestly?

If ur willing to spend more, then i guess u shoud keep looking. But 68,000 miles on an M3 from 1995 is def a good thing. Looks to be in good condition. You can always take care of the seats. But then again, you arent gonna find too many mint M3s in our state, especially from 1995 which was the last year for OBD I. You can always take care of the seats. Actually, now i am thinking more along the lines of buying it. Thats a very nice car and the red looks hot!

Ya its seriously in MINT condition. It was stored inside the garage at the dealer so it wasn't abused by the snow. Now its back out for sale. I'm kind of crossed between this one and an Avus Blue Dinan on Dove 95' with alittle shy of 44k on the mileage but its closer to $20,000.

Assuming it's not an auto, and it gets checked out by a mechanic I'd say go for it. It'll be tough to find something with less than 68k. Looks stock too, which I always think is a good sign.

It is red, buy it. 68k is really low for a 95, and that is the best year...

bring it in to BPG for a quick inspection and all is well!

what's so "ultra-rare" about the car, that the dealer had to put it on the windshield?

Condition is more important than mileage on these cars. My car was nicer than others with half the mileage when I was shopping.

Vaders suck. Lux seats are much more comfortable.

It's probably the only one the dealer has right now!

Seriously though. 68,000 is very low miles for a 10 year old car and it sounds like it's lead a comfortable life so far. Take it for a test drive and if it feels solid and runs clean then go for it. You could spend more on a newer/lower mileage car or you could also spend that extra money on go-fast parts for this one.

The plus of getting this car would be my car payments would be less than $200 a month because of the small loan amount. I am going to drive it tomorrow. A member of another local car forum told me about the car because he drove it and ended up going with a e46 328. He said it was in showroom condition and drove like a dream.

I think the combination of red and the tan lux in 95' could have been rare? Not sure though. Sure someone who knows a lot about 95's would know.

Also, take a look at what Kelly's Blue Book has to say about the car. I just ran a quick guess by them and it said Retail Value for a clean '95 M3 w/ 68k miles would be a little less than $14K so you might be able to talk the dealer down a few bucks.

kbb is out of date everyone uses www.nada.com. Average retail is 15 but the high is 16,200 and this car would fall under the high ranking in my opinion.

BTW it is standard... who would buy an auto e36 m3?

KBB value on a 95M3 with 1,000 miles and 1,000,000 miles is just a few thousand dollars! lol

KBB is retarded...takes practically no value in the miles or condition of the car, basically just looks at the year and model and gives an average price
