spotting Brick, NJ

I saw a 95ish M3 at Loews Movie theatre in Brick, Nj around 11:30 at night.

I normally wouldn't post a useless thread like this but the car had from what i could see:

AA exhaust, SSK & liscense plate holder

gauges in front of shifter, and pillar gauges.
one of which i am pretty damned sure was boost...but no intercooler????

Is this for show???

Is it possible to run a FI system on an m3 without intercooling it?

If you're out there.. whats the deal??

what color was the car?

and yes, you can run an non-intercooled supercharger - most s/c systems do not include an intercooler. Turbo's need IC's.

Was the car Avus blue?

it was at night so it was hard to tell exactly what color it was

the car looked like a dark blue or purple. maybe even black.

i know a guy who has a purple car sounds just like the one you're describing except it's techno violet.

don't think he's on dtm though.

If it was Avus, then his name is Kenny. I have seen an Avus M3 with AA plate frame and exhaust, but I am always in my Nissan... I am not sure if he is on the board or not.

sorry i had to say that, i've got a lotta family down there. I remember playing hockey vs. Brick in high school at Ocean Ice Palace---home of Jim Dowd! lol
