What do you guys think of Turner Motorsports?

I just went to Turner Motorsport in Amesbury MA today, and am curious as to whether anyone else has been there?

I walked in and a Mclaren F1 was in the corner right next to an immaculate white E30 M3... I almost had a heart attack right there.

They all were pretty nice and helpful, and some of the prices seemed pretty reasonable.. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had experience with them...

Yup, been there several times & done a little business with them as well. Planning on doing quite a bit more with them this season. I haven't seen their new facility, but I understand they've got lost more garage room & techs to do the work so the wait to get in there for installs & stuff won't be as long as in the past.

I think when Will offers to keep your car in his living room that means you have done a tad bit of business with them...

I have bought a few things from them and would much rather purchase stuff from them than non-local vendors.

I want to bring my M up to them in early spring to have them install their swaybar and subframe reinforcements.

Maybe pick up a set of swaybars later in the season too. Depends how I like the balance of the car on the auto-x course.

I have bought alot off their classifieds , I think if they expanded their line so more non race cars would have more to choose from they could defineately give Bav a run for their money.

I would be interested to see the two balance sheets. I think Turner does just fine and they gain my respect for sticking true to selling performance parts. I think too many shops loose focus when they start selling 19" chrome wheels because of the profit margin.

I'd have to agree with this, screw bling bling!! I mean looking good is cool, but performance is what it's all about!! I'd much rather have a clean stock looking sleeper, than a bling bling ride that can't deliver the goods!!

There are plenty of so-called "speed shops" that sell huge wings and 20's, turner sells parts that work for people who actually drive their car hard!! They're also willing to stop and talk to the little guy about there problems and goals, this gives them in my eyes!!

Well if I owned a shop I'd do both , alot of BMW owners have never taken their car to the track , just like many SUV owners have never taken their 4x4 off road. Reason I'd like to see them carry more , Is I'd like to give them more business cause they are cool guys , but I, like many others, spend alot of money on cosmetic mods as well as performance mods . Sure a carbon fiber hood weighs like 12lbs compared to 30lbs , and look how many people have em . Many of these same people carry around 200lbs of audio in their trunk too. I'm just saying it would be cool to get everything you need from one trusted shop . They do a good job!

I think if you try and sell too much and try to cater to too many different types of people they often times end up lost and delivering subpar customer service. Specialty shops should stick to their specialty.

For TMS this is preping cars for high performance street and track driving.

Im not saying they shoud start carring APC , But I think they should become a TC KLine retailer for roll bars and MA shaw carbon fiber , as they offer valuble products that their cliental could use. I'mnot saying they should become the next comming of NOPI .

BTW eva have a problem with something purchased from NOPI??? I now know what it stands for :
