I'd like to have everyone meet @10:30 in the F1 Boston parking lot.
so that we can be driving the Karts by 11:00 am
after we do (4) four races we will all cruise over to the site where we will check out the auto X

Unfortunately, I probably won't be coming up Friday night. But I will be there at Show & Shine.

That is one of THE BEST times I have every year. It's so relaxed and everyone is there to just enjoy the cars. None of that "I NEED TO WIN" mentality that is so rampant at other car shows.

F1 Boston details 10/5 Sat.

O.K. here are some details about F1 boston,
We will meet in the F1 parking lot at 11:30am
at 12:00pm we will go into F1 Boston and register for track time

I figure that at that time (12:00) there will not be to many people there so we will be able to really race aginst each other.

for those of you havent been there here a few details.
1. You must be a licensed driver 18 years or older to race
2. No open-toe shoes allowed for racing.
3.You will be signing a liability waiver to race. Pricing
4. they give you a printout of your race so you and your buddies
can compare notes (BTW: the last time i was there the track
record for fastest lap was held by none other than DALE
EARNDHART JR.)

F1 Boston Race Licenses

To race at F1 Boston all drivers must be over 18 and hold a valid driver's license in order to obtain an F1 Boston Race license. All new license holders will be provided with a head-sock, which must be used whenever using one of the F1's helmets.

Annual License holders are entitled to a 10% discount off regular retail prices in The Store @ F1 Boston any may also pre-book and pay for Track time.

Day License $10.00
Annual License $25.00
Competition License $40.00
Annual to Competition Upgrade $15.00
Same-day Day to Annual License Upgrade $15.00
Day to Annual License Upgrade with 30 days $20.00

Arrive & Race
All drivers racing at F1 Boston take part in both practice and race laps. The number of laps on either track varies.

Track One $25.00
Track Two $25.00

the first two races cost $25.00 each
the third race is cheaper at $20.00 (might be cheaper)
the fourth race is $15.00 (might be cheaper)
the fifth race reverts back to the $25.00 policy

TIPS:
*bring your own (full face)helmet
*Bring a pair of driving gloves (bring ratty ones) [i use old
jetski gloves], as long as they are thin and tight fitting.
* dont be concerned about weight limits the trick is to maintain
momentum

I'll see you all there!!!

okay, i'm down, but sooo confused!

I just need some clarifications:
1. just so i know, the price we should expect to pay at F1 for the four races is $95 total right?
2. Where is the autocross and is there a fee?
3. Do we need expirience to autocross?
4. Where is the Bavauto Show and Shine and is there a cover charge?

I'm up in boston, so if everything is close enough, i'll be in!
Hope I can make it!

-Dave

1) sounds about right
2) 45 minutes away, if you plan on entering I believe it's now $35 bucks. You might have to be there for the registration in the morning? http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/events/events.asp?id=229
3) I'd say so since it's the championship. Try some drivers schools first, if you haven't already.
4) It's probably 1 hour away from F1 boston. There is no cover.
