Going on a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 I'm building. All the classes I run allow pretty much anything you can prove is solid and secure to the scrutineers. Thinking either a ball bearing unit or this: TEKNIQ - Snap-Off System race version modified with yellow release handles.

I dont know about the SnapOff ! it looks like a poor design... I will feel much safer knowing that my steering wheel slides in into a rod (hex or gear type) that is at least 1" long. But that is just me. The SnapOff looks like is about 1/2 inch long and the locking system looks hard to work with..... you will need your 2 hands to pull un-lock and lock it. the other systems if you get into and accident and have only one hand to unstrap your self... you can grab the middle of the steering wheel and pull the release to unlock it.... Something to think about |

| I had a nrg quick release in my last one I like the short hub adapter but normal size quick release it looks pretty good that way if you can try not to get a cheap quick release they tend to loosen and jam and sometimes pinch a finger pretty good (i know trust me)
