Racing Tire quick question

I have one question about racing tires - they are made from hard of soft mixture/compound/mass rubber (don´t know exact english term for it). This diversification (hard - soft) is strict? Or nowadays producers using technology, which can mix two or more mixture/compound/mass ? I dont know.

if i understand this right, your asking if there soft or hard? Most track tires are going to be made of a softer much stickier compound that is going to wear alot faster than normal daily driver tires. but when it comes to the hard/soft thing im not an expert. but i do know that if you get your tires to hot they can begin to act in the opposit, and not be as sticky.
