At least the replacement is much better.....

But yeah, sentimental value has nothing to do with numbers most of the time!

You really have been busy! Any races coming up? I just got back from the Glen this past Monday/Tuesday. Driving in the rain is very tricky...

Went to Mid Ohio to instruct the race school and to shake down all the new parts. Didn't go too well but got an idea of what needed to change for the 1st race at VIR. Unfortunatly, the wrong changes were made and the horrible snap oversteer problem got worse thanks to softer springs. Car ended up nosed into a wall lightly. Fixed that and then it was my turn to drive. Was pulling off good times by my 3rd lap (problem was still present, just band aided a little better) when the smoked DME decided to melt a valve. So head is off getting souped up and all the damage is fixed, should be good to go to back to Ohio for the next race at the end of the month. Have some pics of my looooooong winter! Oh yeah, rain can be a good time, usually not at the Glen though. Were you there with ferrari or GVC?

Was there w/SCDA Monday and Tuesday. Rained Monday and cleared up Tuesday.

I managed to stay on the road Monday~ but only because I p-footed the car around. Really not fun.

Tuesday cleared up and was awesome.

Not sure, but I think I was hitting 120ish on the back straight... which is making me seriously think about a full cage now. Didn't get a chance to try the modified line you mentioned before though.

Car looks good! Black/Yellow M badge/theme is bad@$$

Lol, getting faster everytime, huh? Yeah, cages are good, safety first! Hopeing taller tires or more gearing will get me deep in the 170 range this year. Or better would be the new engine if it's ready

Those doors are tits. Never even crossed my mind to do it that way, oh well. Guess I'll start calling mine a "door slammer".

I wanna try endurance events someday... Pulling the trigger on CF doors would be great (since they are ready made and available), except for the price.
