More steel the better for endurance racing. it's a smash fest usually.

VIR was the bad race, leaving for Mid Ohio wed nite/ thursday morning. Praying for good weather too, this thing sucks in the rain there without a wiper. It's do-able but gets sketchy in traffic.
What group is there tuesday? I know BMW is there thursday.

hmm... hope you've got lots of rainex

I run with SCDA because my roomate's an instructor w/them. They run a good outfit with some good sources to learn from.

I'd like to get some more track time with some other groups, but just can't afford it right now.

I think we're both praying for good weather. Good luck w/the race, let us know how it goes.

Looks like you did pretty good at Ohio Phil. 3rd fastest lap of the weekend (if I'm reading the results correctly).

Yeah, not too shabby. Still having lots of little issues with setup and random electrical problems have been keeping me from just worrying about setup. But seems good to go to the NHMS race on the 4th of july weekend, I WANT the overall so busting my butt the last couple of weeks. We'll see...

well, I was winning till new issues surfaced
The crank bolt came loose and I lost timing reference. Oops. Back together and have run a few races but dealing with sound issues everywhere. Winning my class nationally but haven't been on the podium much. But lots of development this year anyways, so I'm not surprised!
Chuck Stickly engine is here friday....

Sweet. Good to know you're doing good. Chuck Stickly engine should be kickass!!!
Don't suppose you know anyone selling an e30 beater in/around MA? Looking for a new beater...

Been poking around at BMW 2002's. You'll probably be getting a call from me if I find one...

Hmmm, an 02? You sure? E30's are waaaaay more fun. And a lot less rust and mechanically needy! I'll poke around, can't think of any for sale right now.

PM me your email, I'll shoot over what I have but most pics of it aren't mine since I'm in the car...

Tremblant wasn't so bad this time around, my co driver put it in a wall but not too much damage. But that made me start last
Made it up to 4th and was gaining on 3rd, Ike Neilson in his E36 M3 GTR (yeah, a real factory built racecar) but ran out of time. Lots of vid from the weekend being processed. Check out HMS motorsport on youtube, there's some previous races up there.
