That's right. I'm back... Got the new car as a caged tub on the thursday before the Watkins Glen race. It went to the ailignment shop tuesday morning. It was a LOOOOOOONG weekend.
First session out with the car was respectable. The following session was a race. 2nd in class out of 14ish, 6th overall out of near 70.
Barely got vid, but I started 20th-ish so what I do have is good. And HI DEF! Should be delivered to me next week.
Now the bad news: I can't post the vid of the crash.
Schroth doesn't want it realeased till they study up on their product since we were testing new style belts. THEY WORKED GREAT!

LOL. Yeah, that's the same setup with 50mm of spacing... per side!! I didn't have any spacers on the rear in the old car. Sticking with 11 inches on the ground, but could easily fit 15.
Custom spacers and offset changing over the winter. I head out for New Hampshire intl at the end of the month and then to florida in dec and jan. Was glad to be fast even right after a wreck, usually makes you timid but not this time!

It takes a certain amount of mental stability to process the crash...I think you just ignored it!

Do you have plans to make the front wider too?? It looks funny with the back body work that wide and nothing up front to match it... And besides, you don't really want your front and rear tracks that different... do ya?

I used to run a wider rear track than front, which is usually recommended and aids in stability. But since I'm just completely nuts my front track is wider now and I'm thinking of a reverse stagger (wider wheels up front). I'll either find out if the hunch I'm working on is complete madness or genius.

Considering PTG ran the same kit, I think he should leave things alone

When are you racing at NHIS? Is it open to the public? I'm heading up for a track day a week from Friday. Would definitely like to come watch if it's possible.
