Quick Beaverun footage

Just got back from the porsche/ BMW club challenge at Beaverun in Pittsburgh. Car had some issues, nothing to big. It was cutting out the first day, so I had to let a p car on the 2nd spot of the podium

and ended up 3rd, but 1st in class. 2nd day was a little better, finished 2nd overall and 1st in class again. This time with a BMW sweep of the podium! This weekend was the first time BMW has even made the podium in 6 years, and we did it in style! Steve Fitzgerald (another Boston guy) finished 1st overall both days in Super Mod. Here's some vid of the first day at the start b4 Verns engine blew. I started 5th. Listen to the boost from the 620 whp porsche!

Very cool. I think I saw your car at a club race in Mid Ohio not too long ago (I work for a Grand Am BMW team and you guys were a support race I believe) looks nice!

No, the guy in the video blew his motor, mine is fine.. 2 headgaskets and a new head in 4 weekends may not be considered fine by most though.. I was at Mid Ohio twice, got 3rd overall at the grand am weekend. That was a fun event!

Vern Anderson? Damn that sucks... What is that the 2nd or 3rd time he's done that?

Sounds like you had a blast! I cant wait till i get back in a car, at this point it looks like it will be the 13 hours at VIR race later on this year. The 930 sounded astonishingly swoooooshy and beautiful.

Yeah, Vern hasn't been having great luck this year. The weekend started for him with a crapstorm and never let up. He was fast and knew the track, hated to see him drop out. Carcass, I'll probably be running the 13 hour race too with James Clay, Diffsonline Dan, and Dave White. I'll see you there!
