| I dont know the sense of diesel power in races. I think the features of gasoline motors and diesel motors in le mans arent very closed. The Audi:
The Pescarolo:
The performance of this motors are very different, and i think this benefits diesel motors. it was just a publicity stunt

| I know the sense of Diesel Power. The sense is to use other alternative fuel concepts. For this long distance how the 24hours race it was for Audi very important to use these concept. These concepts has many vantages. 1. for the environment. The other teams thinking about Hybrid for the next race. 2. The Audi needs fewer stops in the pits for to gas up. 3. The Audi has more torque than the other cars. 4. Diesel has fewer rotation speed 5. The Diesel engine is durable. 6. Diesel engine needs fewer gas The Diesel use his torque and the fewer pit stops. Good contribution for the environment. The 24hours at the Nürburgring drove a lot of racecars with Diesel engines and Hybrid. This is the future.

for this reason i dont like diesel jejejejejeDiesel power emisions in solid particles and sulfur oxides are highest than gasoline powers. I think races dont have a ecologic function. I agree with Norbert Haug. He said "The contribution of F1 to the ecology is that during a f1 weekend 220 million of tv viewers dont drive because they are watching the TV" ![]()

| All Diesel cars in the race use particle filtre. Special the racers from Le Mans and 24hours from Nürburgring. I don't like Diesel too, but Audi wons the race with a Diesel. That is important. The companie will show us, what is possible with this conception. I like the V8 sound of V8 Supercars from Australia. That's what I like. ![]() In the future the F1 thinking about Hybrid and another alternatives. For example the Formula 1 car use the heating from the brakes for other components of the car. Warmness and heating shall use efficiently. This is a rule for the next year.

I really love the V8 sound too jejejejeje Its a good idea to give the car some seconds of extrapower through the recover of brake energy. It will permit us to see a lot of overtaking but I hope the continuity of the actual principal fuel for a long time.

| The most important potential of the diesel motor is fuel efficiency. This comes into to play critically in a 24hr race such as Le Mans, Nurburg, or 12hr races such as Petit Le Mans, Sebring. Im no fan, but the way eco-friendly this world is becoming...they just might be the future for racing.
