This may in fact work. I attempted this on my e46 M3 with total failure. Reason being, the end of the shock shaft that meets with the camber plate was not long enough. However, the design is different for the non-M kit. AutoTechnic, a race shop in New Milford, CT uses TC Kline plates with Bilstein shocks in their e46 race cars. Give them a call and ask for Jeff. Yeah, I had a lot off talks with Jeff, he helped out quite a bit. He didn't have any of the parts I needed but he said I should be able to machine some of the included spacers to work.

| Good. I am glad he was helpful. Assuming this works out I think you will be quite pleased with the results. Unfortunately, this option did not work out for me and I ended up ripping out the PSS9's for the TCK D/A kit, but I believe a large part of the increase in performance was from the constant rate springs and the front plates. Best of luck!

First tests of the plates on the STOCK struts. I'm thinking that the stock struts are similar to the PSS9's because the stock upper strut mount and spring perches are re-used in the PSS9's. Anyway, here's the pics... see for yourself... Stock front strut 60mm spring hat Shock sleeve Camber plate Looks like there's enough thread exposed Shock nut fits Completed Now the real test will be putting them on the PSS9's. I hope the TC Kline springs aren't too short for the struts, I haven't checked them yet...

pss9's I have just installed a set of PSS9's on my E36 M3. The car handles like a dream. The camber plates adjust the toe, but does it really affect the ride and or handling of the car that much? Mike

IT WORKS!!!! The plates and springs worked with the PSS9's with NO MODIFICATIONS! PSS9 Strut shaft Threads on PSS9 Strut nut tightened down with loctite Full assembly On the car Now I just have to get it aligned. I'm gonna let the springs settle before I do that; they're sitting a little higher than the PSS9 springs. TC Kline recommends -2 camber and 1/16 toe-in. Anybody have different suggestions? Can't wait to get to the Ring to try them out! ![]()
