Toyota in Nascar Controversy....

Is anybody following along with the goings on in nascar ? Apparently the NAPA team had a car impounded because of a gel type substance found in the intake manifold.... or some type of fuel octane booster found in the fuel or fuel delivery system.

Nascar is really comin down on teams pushing the grey area. The fines they have handed out so far are insane. This is not limited to the NAPA team only.

actually it was performance enhancing whatever they were using... the napa car was 2mph faster then any other car on the track.

Well keep in mind it was only that team. There are 6 other cars in the toyota stable.

Probably an engine from their pickup truck line.

Toyota now actually has a large V8 available aside from their small V8.
Their large V8 is a 5.7Liter while the small V8 is a 4.7liter.

No, there were other teams that got busted, one crew chief got thrown out of NASCAR and the team starts the season at -100 points.
