2 weeks of leave from the army was my whole season and my car wasn't ready for the bmwcca event at blackhawk farms on june 30. took home a trophy in my brothers 200$ rx7 at a high speed autocross in madison. now im turning my car into a dedicated bmwcca Bmodified car.

na power is to expensive for me. we think we can get over 400hp on nearly stock internals. hopefully that will be enough or else ill need a more extensive rebuild.

ask around, plenty of people on this forum have turbo m20s. especially in australia.

It's been good so far... We have two local clubs that autoX, one does year end trophies based on a top 15 overall points system, reguardless of class - and runs street tires for stock classes (makes it more newbie friendly) the other is our local SCCA chapter and that has been interesting this year too... First time trying R-compound tires there and it's been kinda strange.

I learned that 4 year old hosiers isn't the best way to crack into r-compound tires and spent the majority of the year chasing some level of grip. The last event was the first to get them hot enough to start to soften up a little and I'm starting to like them quite a bit.

I hope to trophy this year for the first time in both clubs (yay)... Few videos from the season so far (newest to oldest):

Yeah, this past event (first with above 75deg weather) really seemed to help; they started to come around and prooved to be competative at least locally.

BTW, would love to see more of that WB e36... looks like FUN.

I painted my wrx track car that color -its the best paint to touch up after a bit of nudging
