Willow Springs

Hi, for those of you that have been to willow springs, I have a couple of questions. Me and a couple of my friends are looking to rent out the track (horse thief mile) for the day, which i guess is like 1200 dollars. Can regular people bring their streetcars to this track and rent it as long as they have helmets and safety regulations? Is there anything i should know, because im totally new to this, any advice would be appreciated, thanks

I'm not sure about Willow but i would think so since California speedway does that. But i think it'd be more than 1200 bucks man.
However Can I be in too? I've not been to the track for like half a year after i sold my Nissan and wrx. I'll split it up with you guys. Thanks.

you absolutely can be in with us, however i did call the racetrack, and they will not rent it to us because we are not affiliated with any club unfortunately. However if you check out http://www.redlinetrackevents.com/event_list.html they have open track days and we are definetly going to go and do that, and you should consider doing that instead. I think well probably go to the August 26th-27th day at the streets of willow, pm me if your interested or just want to hang out with us sometime and shoot the $***

Hey dude, thanks. About redlinetrack event yeah, i've been a member of them for the whole past 2 years with my nissan S14. I just haven't been back since 2006. Anyways, it'd be nice if we have a bunch of bmw out there ( cuz there's not a single bimmer in the track man).

thats awesome that youve been to them before, when we go, ill be taking my bimmer, (318 with a built motor by then) and my friend will bring his e30 325 so it should be fun, one of my friends has an s13 and that thing is cool. How do you like the redline events, worth going to?

It's nice and a perfect time for practicing and smoothing the skill. Sometimes I feel like it's a little intimidating though. It's because WRX STi, Lan Evo, S2000Vette, etc.... high power car appear in intermediate class and my S14 has somewhere around 240 to 260 whp hahaha. So have you guys been in redlinetrackevent before? I think it'd be nice when we have a group of bimmer car there man. I would love to see all of you guys there, maybe we can help each other out and stuffs. I know a bunch of guys with S2000, MR2, wrx etc.. let's kick their ass hahaha
BTW, i think it's worth it though, you'll find out more when you're in though.

ive never been, but im for sure going. i want to see what my car after that motor can do, it should be pretty badass. I dont mind getting intimidated if someone beats me in a car that costs much more than mine, thats just how it is, but it should be fun, hope to c u there
