Dado + ATCO Raceway (NJ)

ET'S... and Track Day
Dado,

I know a few have asked before but I NEED to know what ET's your getting out of that setup... 60ft - 1/8th - 1/4 - mph for same. Track days are hard to come by, but I run with some "American Muscle" gearheads and just recently rented out ATCO Raceway (www.atcorace.com) in south Jersey on 9/22. CRAZY!!! is all I can say about the experience. 20 heads / 7 american beasts - 1 import... all go... no show... well maybe 1 or 2 We had the entire track to ourselves with unlimited passes for each car running till 4:30pm. Cost us $150 per car for the day. Guaranteed tanning and BBQ'n!!! I'll post some pics and vids later. Anyway, I am the only BMW gearhead in my group and have referenced your car on numerous occasions, but no numbers to compare.

BTW, if anyone is interested, we'll be renting out ATCO (1) more time before winter sets in. Were doing it the first week in November. Management is getting back to us for a firm date. Anyone interested in testing their setups and possibly shaming some 8cyls. with inline 6's, let me know. If I get a decent response, i'll see if I can formerly open it up to all fellow bimmerphiles.
I know the track limit on "private" rentals is (15) so some spots are still open.

I'm at BIMMERFEST EAST NYC for anyone who wants to discuss it more formally but feel free to shoot me a line. I would be more than happy to have the BMW contingency take over the track day.

dado when you ran your first 1/4 were you on street tires?

I was on my road racing tires.

Jet Black, no reason. 1/4 just doesn't cut it for me.
