is it safe to use oem replacment slotted, dimpled, or drilled rotors? i hear if you use them in high speed racing it can cause cracking, any professional opinion would GREATLY be appreciated

Stay with stock rotors, just plain solid rotors.

I keep hearing the same thing from instructors...cause it doesn't matter what you run, you can still warp them on the track.

I've tracked my car quite a few times. I've NEVER warped a rotor. If you're warping them, you need to reevaluate your braking technique.

OEM works fine... only way I can see you warping rotors is uneven and/or too much torque on the wheel bolts. or no cool down laps.. and letting the car sit there.

just get some stock rotors.. the metalurgy of the brembo replacements seems to work well . I would stay away from anything that is drilled.
You might want to consider having them crio treated. That seems extend there life about 20%..
And remove the backing plates from the front and rear rotors this will aid in getting air to them and increase there life....

Keep in mind that removing the backing plates exposes more of the rotor to potential exposure to water among other things. Water can build up on the rotor and cause a delay in braking when applied during wet driving.
