| I assume dedicated track cars will have spherical bearing varieties, but for street cars or street/track setups is a spherical bearing too much vibration? I have KMACs right now and they're comfy enough but I think the bearings are now shot again so I should probably get something else. However I've been told sphericals are too much for street cars and won't last as long because they're not designed for street stress... GC's "Hybrid" is still a spherical but with a dampening pad of some sort. Turner & TCK both have track designs.. So, what's everyone using for camber plates? ![]()

| Spherical bearings don't much like salt and road grime. It's just something to keep in mind if you run the car year round. The new Motorforce units look interesting. They use a larger bearing than most and are $100 less than GC's mounts. http://www.motor-force.com/camberplates.html |

| I'd heard one other person suggest Motor Force... certainly a reasonable design philosophy... I would just hate to be a guinnea pig for something like that... although maybe... ![]()

| they look very similar to GC, maybe too similar If you don't want the HVH on soild bearing plates, i'd say the GC's, or maybe try HIOPs. I know someone running these and he is really happy with them. About -3.5 max camber. Quote:

| max, if you're looking to get camber and still use non-race springs (no perch), you may just want to swap your left and right stock camber plates. that should give you around 3 degrees. if you're looking to use the 2.5" race springs, get the full race g/c plates. i daily drove the car for 3 months with that setup and we drive it to all the events in california (i'm in seattle) and everything is fine. you just have to clean and lube them every once in awhile.

| As it turns out, my KMACs are still okay... That rattling around I was hearing was a toasted endlink! Turner replaced both endlinks with adjustable ones (don't know why I didn't do that last year!) so they could preload the swaybar properly. Now that my needs aren't quite as imminent... I don't know about the HIOP plates, so I'll take a look at those... as well as the MotorForce ones... once they have something ready for my 60mm springs. I s'pose I'd still consider the GC ones as well, based on the feedback here. Thanks for all the info.
