Autocross @ FedEx field on the 28th. Anybody around DC go?

I wish my camera was working, saw some great cars today at the FedEx field parking lot.

Did BMW CCA make an event out of this? It seemed like there were alof BMWCCA folks, at least one liteweight M3 and several other vvverry clean M3s. Anybody from DTMpower go?

It was my first autocross event. I didn't participate, just spectated and even got a couple rides in my friend's Z28 Camaro, great fun. I can't wait to get my bimmer out there sometime. It seemed about a 1/4 of the cars were BMWs, even the stock bimmers dominated. Quite a few Miata's, Mini's, one CRX that was tearing it up, porsche, even a viper. Good times.

That brand new viper was soooo quite, kind of dissapointing, the CRX had more of a rumble to it

do you know when/where they are posting the results from the autocross competition? I would like to see how the avus blue m3 did in the afternoon, it was doing really well from what i saw.

The Avus Blue M3 was driven by 2 of the top drivers in the area. I was not there while they were running, so I do not know what really happened, but they finished 7 and 9 in SM.

I finished 1st, but I do not know if that will happen during the season.
