Question Better track forum?

This has got to be the slowest Racing forum around! Where does everyone go to chat about track stuff? Bimmerforums?

this forum is picking up some steam, the more folks interested in driving their cars on the track or autox instead of street stuff, the more it'll grow.

dado, myself and Marks to name a few are working on getting more people interested in tracking, and high performance driving this year...we want to make this forum a great place for performance and driving enthusiasts to frequent...

I'm glad you guys are on board. It's not that there aren't enough racers out there, they just need to be persuaded to hang HERE!

Agreed, nobody talks about anything here though...

So what's everybody running this year?

I'm doing a bunch of autox this spring and probably nothing this summer. New job + house + wedding = no extra time!

I'll be running the local BMW CCA track days (within ~200 miles, 3 or 4 tracks) and the local PCA days. Got big brakes and upgraded to 16" SSR Comps w/ some crazy rubber from Indiana This past month the car has undergone a ton of changes to make it more suited to the track, I'll post them in Member's Rides when it's done What're y'all doin

Congratulations! I wish the best of luck.

I'm going to a DE at Sebring in a few hours

won't be driving at it, though.

I'm going to try and do a DE a month still december. But that will be most likely controlled by my tire situation. Hoosier take offs are great when you can get them.

Man, I need to drive a set of R-comps. All my buddies harass me about getting a set, but I've been setting faster times in class than the guys w/ them, so why bother? Just one more added expense. We'll see this year.

BF.C is alot busier than this forum. That's were I go for quick info.

I hope that the BFE at Beaver Valley attracts more people to the "Legal Speed" scene.

I would love to see this place pick up! Then I can have 2 track forums to frequent. (bf.c & DTM)

I'm still prepping my car. Need to go through the brakes and make sure everything is good before I hit the track this summer. I can't wait, everything else has been coming together wonderfully.

I would be interested if you guys (sunir, dado, & marks) put some events together.

Nasioc.com has a lot of good track info and the people are always really helpful. I havnt been to a dtm event before, but if you did something more track oriented i would want to go for sure. Im kinda new to the whole game and would love to meet some people who know what they are doing, rather than just bumbling along blindly like me

Bimmerforums.com and Bimmerfest.com have more established/larger Track/Racing forums to date. E46fanatics recently launched a Track/Racing forum as is the case with this one.

You should also checkout your local BMW Chapter website; chances are they have a similar forum also.
