was searching for some stuff and came across this lightweight

last time I saw their page the car looked a lot different. Seems like the racepad car will be a strong contender. Very clean work! Here are some pics.

you're car might be messy.....but I'd rather take yours anyday...white with lime green looks cool...but that ferrari yellow (I think) looks even better...plus you're car has so many mods it's not even funny.

Do you have a fire system and window net? I think K.C. Kline has some nice stuff for this.

tc kline in Ohio?

Pete from TC Kline did a lot of work in one of the cars in the team (Sunir's LTW). Most of my parts are coming from www.cdoc.com

Sorry

I meant T.C. Kline (need sleep)....looks like you've got everything squared away with cdoc. I was just reading BMW CCA club racing getting started section and thought of it.

yeah cdoc is helping us a lot. They will be supplying the team with fluids, pads, safety equipment, etc... Great guys to deal with and always have pretty much anything in stock. It's on the way to VIR so it's always a plus to stop by the shop and pick up whatever we need Plus we get to drool at their porsches.

Dado, I'm guessing you're not done modding your car right? That other car is really nice but since I don't know about the driver, I'd say the money is on you. We've all seen your driving, but only time will tell I guess.

Well I thought I would be in CM but some are saying BM. I am going on whatever class they put me in, I really don't care. Whatever class I am in I am sure it will still be fun.

Unless you are Wicked slow, you won't be put into CM. You will atleast run in BM, unless they get cocky and slap you in A or SM hehe.

There was some talk about this car in BF track forum, might want to search back 2-3 weeks.

Also, many race cars look clean in pictures but almost every one is pretty rough in person. You don't go wheel to wheel at 150mph without some warscars

Also, in that post linked to before, you can clickon each category for a lot of pictures. Its a pretty nice cage, has some nice truss action, nice gussets on door bars, and goes into the engine bay nicely. Does notlook like its integrated into the subframe, but it looks pretty decent.

Once it gets racing more it'll get nice and dirty like a real racecar, lol. The car did not do too well in that first NHIS event, but it improved some in the second event listed in bmwcca. Ron chese was 5 seconds faster in his Monster Dm car then HOleman in his Cm, I guess they still have some bugs to work out and dial it in, maybe driver as well.

Dado you would have to be in AM or BM.....no way in CM that turbo would bump you up 1.5 ltrs. The limit for CM is 3.2ltr. Also SM is out of the question b/c it isnt a factory built/prepared racecar.

Yea, either way there won't be any other people in the class really to race against.

If you want to be competitive in a class,I would say ditch the turbo, and go NA so you can race in CM...notmuch use to race by yourself haha.
