| new slicks from dunlop, might try them out. ![]() correction: Dunlop had the wrong picture on their website. This tire as you can see is not a slick and dunlop has changed the picture to the correct one. They had a picture of a slick on their ad before Called a local shop today to get prices and more info on this tire. I still can't believe it but they are DOT Approved so it's perfect for the people that drive their cars to the track. The shop is sending me a booklet with pictures and specs on them. I might try them out since they make just the sizes I need and the price is not bad at all. For 235/40/18 the cost is $234 for 255/35/18 the cost is $236

| I just want to make sure I understand - these new Dunlops are DOT R-Comps? Be interested to know how they compare with the Goodyear GS-CS Isn't Dunlop owned by Goodyear? I had heard that Dunlop was made the spec tire for the Rolex/Daytona series because of some Daytona/Goodyear/NASCAR connection. Maybe Goodyear is letting Dunlop take over road race marketing/support while keeping Goodyear prominent in NASCAR. |

| Dado, do you have a model number for this tire (the slick)? It also appears that where you had the pic linked, it changed ![]() Last edited by scottn2retro : 02-20-2004 at 08:34 AM. |

| the picture changed by itself, they replaced the filename since I didn't even edit the post. well for some reason dunlop used the picture of a slick on their website. Seems like it was an error on their part and they changed the picture. I got to see the dunlop's this weekend at VIR and I don't plan on running them anymore. They are not slicks like the picture that they were using before. It was an error on their part so chill litewait M3 ![]()
