| My advice for the ultimate upgrade: Get involved your local BMWCCA chapter to "Get Faster" in any car. Take driving schools at your local tracks, go to a local autocross, go on rallys and work on technique with the senior members of the club. The club has great driver/instructors who will always be willing to help you learn the skills that will allow you to "Get Faster" An on track driving event or a local autocross with a qualified instructor riding along giving pointers and tips is where you are exposed to how much better you can be behind the wheel. Once you start seeing how good you can become I am sure you will want to "Get Faster", which cannot be bought and bolted on. To "Get Faster" you will need skills learned with an open ear, patience, determintation and the best part "SEAT TIME, tons of it" My friend, BMWCLUBRACER, an autocross champ still amazes me when he drives my car. It is about a second to a second and a half faster around the autocross with him driving it. Does this make me a bad driver? No, this just makes me want to extract more out of my car with driving skill so I can "Get Faster". Think of it this way, the skills that you learn on track are like bolt on performance for the driver, and you will never run out of upgrades. (5 years so far and I still have a list of things that will allow me to "Get faster") I promise, the overall performance in your car, as well as any other car you drive will be increased in speed handling, and braking when you "Get Faster" These are the things that made me reconsider what a performance upgrade is really worth without the skills to use it. Plus learned skills will last you a lifetime. More info? www.bmwcca.org HTH, Matt (Dreaming of the track while the snow melts I thought I would throw this one out there for you all to chew on)
