I would caution people to keep their eye out on changing track conditions. When I was at VIR last Dec the surface temperature dropped considerably. It is a non-issue if you are aware of it. Modify your line and braking zones. I treated the track as if it was wet and had no problems. Once the sun starts to go down it gets cold! It can catch people by surprise although a cold track should be no surprise.
