| Oh we're talking racing on a club level, not pro? In that case I already got the racecar I want on my race team ![]() Also which "m3 gt2" are you referring to? The Scca Class? Last edited by LITEWAITM3 : 12-26-2003 at 08:32 AM. |

| PTG ran a GTS-2 car for a year in 97 I believe. Hard to compare it to today's rules, but essentially it raced against turbocharged Porsche's, whereas in GTS-3 the Porsche's were NA. In comparison to the GTS-3 M3, it allowed for a lighter car (100-200 lbs) and no restrictor, no rev-limit, and a 6th gear.

| Yea, but there was no real campaigning of a Gt2 as in the Porsche Gt2, know what I mean? I was just a classification, not a model. Just a less restricted "gtr" Very sick car E36's just looked mean then |

| *rifles through car magazines* There was a limited production GT3 street car *I swear* because of the requirement to produce 500 of the car for the street. Might've just been a CSL or LTW or something, but it's in a magazine of mine somewhere. It was listed as an M3 GT3. Oh well. |
