BMW M Track / Driver School?

I was just reading in the TECK forum about the Dateline show. I believe Got Dope? menitoned some sort of M Track and driver school that BMW was building somewhere on the east coast. Does anybody have any other info about this?

Its always been in South Carolina, at the Spartansburg plant. I believe it is moving to a real track near there. You get it free if you buy an M5 or Z8. I think its $2500+ if you want to do it, not worth it IMHO.

i watched them for a bit when i stopped by the plant, while the instructors were tearing it up the students were pathetic

I went to the M driving school, it was VERY GOOd I must say! And I also had the best lap time among all students there

i think its upwards of 3 grand, but u get quite an experience from it i hear.

its on the bmwusa.com site under joy of driving or something.

Awesome thanks for the info. Anybody else done it besides TC_M3. Yeah if i was rich and had that much laying around that'd be one hell of a great thing to do I think.

A local radio station is giving away an X3 or something plus they send you to the M driving school. Maybe i should try to win. haha.

One of my boys from back home went with his older brother that is in realestate. Said it was amazing. The $2500 a pop is way out of my budget though.

check out any driving school in your area. it should be more economical and should have more options if you want personalized attention.
