| Autox is fun Yep, went to an autox today and kicked some ricer a$$.  Along with a few others!I took 1st place in STS putting away an Impreza and 7 others. Could have won DSP too if I went that route. Maybe next time. We'll see. I'll post the link for some pictures (I forgot my camera... HEY I had to get up at 5AM!) and the official time links.

| Heck I wouldn't have cared if I walked away in last place! I just love to get out and use the car as it was designed. It's rewarding  It was nice to get 6 runs too!

| The region I run with usually gets 8-10 runs Unfortunately, I am in CSP with some very competitive MR2s on R compounds that routinely placea 4-5 seconds ahead of me. I'm slowly closing the gap as I gain experience, but without the tires I think victory is not possible. |

| 8-10 runs?!? Man that must be nice! I autox with SCCA and we get 4 runs tops, with 3 being the norm. With Corvette club events I usually get 5-6 but thats tops... |

| congratulations Matt -- Why don't you come up to SM class then if you want some competition? Stop playing around in the DSP and STS classes.  stjobs -- try evolution school ... I was going to sign up this year for Evolution I and II. However, I will get more seat time first and then go to Evolution I. I've heard that school knocks off at least 2 seconds from each run ... |

| I think there was 1 car in the SM class when I was there. It was a supercharged Integra which I wouldn't have had any trouble with. The STS class has a good number of cars. Besides, I'm still on street rubber
