first track day

Im going to my first track day this Sat. at VIR. Is anyone else going to this? (besides Ian) Anyway anything I should know now....ahead of time that would help me out?

Be a sponge, don't go into it thinking you know everything (it already sounds like you have a good outlook on things so I think you're good here

) Be smooth, watch your mirrors, listen to your instructor, and most of all, have fun!!!

Don't have an ego!
Check you lugs to be sure they're torqued correctly before each session.
Take lots of water and food to eat, you've gotta stay well conditioned.

Well, the track day at VIR was great. I had some good instruction and learned a lot of useful information. Now I cant wait to go back. Hopefully within the next few days Ill post some pics.
