1/8 Mile time slip.

Just got back from the drag strip. I was very impressed with my runs even though I think I can pull 8.50's - 8.60's.

next time im out my goal is to get into the 8.50's by coming off the line much stronger, these runs I cam off the line very easy, I was just trying to get used to the lights and taking off from the line. I never go to the drag strip so i need practice.

this is a 98 N/A M3...

Hey good times man.. i need to head to the 1/8th in our hood one of these days! I'm curious to see what i'd run compared to you

You should do good, the only thing about the drag strip is you have to get used to launching the car. I rarely go to the strip so I need practice to.

We can go any thursday, let me know if you want to plan something, I'll get the rest of the beemer boys to come as well..

oh yeah Chris (6spd540i) came out there with me and his best run was a 9.0

Right on.. Chris and i ran on the way home from SC, i just barely edged him out! But my tranny is f'd up so i can't shift fast at all.. gotta fix that first. By then i'll have my new software and 3.46 diff installed.

Good times and 2.0xx is a good launch. I have yet to run my car since I fixed it. My best time before was a 9.009 totally stock. That is when I realized my clutch was fried. Smoke from the tranny is not good. I need to go back soon.

What mods do you have? I would like to see similar times hopefully.
