Mini Cooper S

Hey my mom is looking into buying a new car, and she likes the mini, I think it's a neat little car that I could probably bring out on a track day or something so I hope she gets it.

It's the 2nd year model coming out now right??? I'm just wondering how they've been holding up, what some stats are, how reliable they've been and anything else I should know about them.

Ohh, and does it come in an automatic, I'm having a problem finding that info, my mom can't drive a standard due to health complications.

Also, are there many options for interiors? I've only seen the inside of one and it looked pretty bad, I don't think my mom would like it at all.

Im afraid Cooper S doesn't comr with auto.

That's what I figured, only thought it might because BMW gave the m3 a type of automatic, she can just get the regular model if she decides on a cooper then.

my mom's been thinking of a mini too, but she's also refuses to drive a stick and at the same time feels that the standard cooper is not powerful enough after driving around in a 740 and a 540 for the past few years (not that she goes any faster than a 90 year old in florida anyway, but I'm glad to see that she doesn't want to settle for something that feels underpowered)..
