| Pro's: #1 - Its designed by BMW Group, with a Daimler/Chrysler engine #2 - Extremely safe (Marcus can attest to that) #3 - Looks awesome #4 - Very quick (I am sure its slow next to an M3  )#5 - Aftermarket is already making great stuff for the car Con's: #1 - LONG wait if you want a custom ordered MCS #2 - FWD (there is just no replacement for RWD... except AWD  )#3 - Interior has more 'retro' design than 'functional' design #4 - It doesnt hold a candle to a slammed, black e46 M3 on bling-bling 19" wheels  If you are really curious... call up David Kuharich at Irvine MINI and tell him that I sent you. You can set up an appointment to test drive a MINI Cooper S. If you want, I can also take you for a ride in mine. Its all broken in and happy now!! Hope that helps you out! | A buddy of mine, dentist actually, just bought one for his wife. Same as DDD, Cooper S. They over for dinner the other night and they brought that. Well his wife and my girlfriend were preparing dinner we decided to go for a spin. I loved that car!!!! It's such a nimble car and rather quick. It surprised me. When I drove it, the shifting was so easy as well. I don't give too many props for the interior design, but as far as quickness, nimble handling, and overall sporty performance, definitely a thumbs up. If you're looking for a daily driver that you can have fun with until you get your car back, this is the beast to get. The car I can most relate or compare the Cooper S is to the Audi TT........the TT gave me the same kind of feelings the Cooper S did. good luck.

| They're sweet little cars, stout chassis and flat as a board cornering, very nice manners. Still too disconnected for me though, FWD just plain blows. Engine is powerful i guess, it is supercharged and not superfast.. Interior is spacious but too novelty.. center gauges look almost cartoonish. Still too girly/Beetle style for me.. |
