| Marcus, glad to know that you both are ok. Me and my wife are happy that the MINI did its job and protected the both of you from any serious injuries. Take some time off and spend more time with each other. She needs your comfort right now. Happy Thanksgiving to the both of you.

| Christy, my wife, was just discharged from the hospital. We are both home and safe. Aside from the minor bruises and cuts, we are fabulous. My wife says that she does not want another MINI. She thinks the steering is just too sensitive for her. She's insisting on an X5. I want to test drive a Z4. We'll see who wins. LOL. Anyhow, I am glad that I can make jokes the day after such a serious accident. I am still amazed that we walked away from the accident. I never even had to seek medical treatment. At the crash site, skid marks are all over the place. The car definitely danced several times -- because many of the skid marks make little sense. Hopefully today I will be able to post some pics of the freeway where this accident occurred. Tomorrow I will post some pics of the actual car, after I go over to the tow yard. Should be interesting. We are getting ready to head over to see relatives now, so that we can have some turkey. Thanks for all of the well wishes (in your phone calls, emails, PMs, and here on the forum). | Good news Hey Marcus, I am glad to hear that you and Christy are ok. That just goes to show you how good the small german car can withstand such impact. Hope all goes well and take care Tony Mack

| Jesus! I'm so glad to hear that you two are okay. Those damn cars are made so well. Makes you happy to know that the extra money you spend on a good car pays off in safety. I hope to see you two soon and try and have a Happy Thanksgiving. -Kim

| Marcus - I am at a loss for words.... First and foremost... thank god you are both alright!!! I am... bummed (if that even conveys the feeling) that we never got a chance to 'motor' together in the MINI's. Let me know if you and your wife need ANYTHING... and please call me once you get a chance. I would like to hear a little more about the accident if you are OK talking about it. Talk to you soon - and have a Happy Thanksgiving!! ![]() |

| it's great to hear another story of a BMW engineered vehicle saving lives. people always ask why i'm so fanatical about BMW's and i tell them that the engineered cost of a BMW will save your life opposed to a cheaper car.
